The manager and operator of the CHEMPARK sites is the company CURRENTA, which operates, among other things, a waste management center at the Leverkusen Chemical Park where industrial sewage sludge is incinerated in addition to waste. For the sewage sludge incineration, Loibl Förderanlagen GmbH supplied an efficient ash conveying system individually adapted to the requirements.

Industrial and conventional sewage sludge is composed of a large number of pollutants, which can have various and sometimes unknown effects on nature and man.
