“Curiosity and openness are the most important things for us.”

How did you originally join Loibl and what made you decide to become part of the company?
I wanted to work in my home town of Straubing again and saw an advertisement from Loibl in the newspaper, which I applied for.

What specific projects or successes during your time at Loibl have been particularly memorable and why?
I would say it's an ongoing process where there are always successes.

How would you describe the corporate culture at Loibl? What do you like about it?
The flat hierarchies and the cooperation with colleagues, which works very well.

To what extent does Loibl support you in your professional development? What benefits do you particularly appreciate?
I can complete one training course a year at BGHM and I like the benefits such as the job wheel.

What do you value most about your team and working with your colleagues?
The open communication and the team spirit.

How do you keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in your industry?
Through further training at the BGHM, social media and in exchange with colleagues from the industry.

What role do sustainability and innovation play at Loibl and in your day-to-day work at Loibl in general?
Both play a very important role for me. It starts with the separation of recyclable materials and the use of green technologies in the company.

What advice would you give to new employees who are interested in Loibl or who are just joining the Loibl team?
Simply to be curious and open-minded.

How have changes in the industry influenced your work at Loibl in recent years?
Legal regulations and standards in the field of occupational safety are subject to regular changes. Loibl has to ensure that all new requirements are implemented, which may require additional training and adjustments to safety guidelines. I am responsible for ensuring that we are always up to date.

Are there any special technologies or tools that you use frequently in your position and why?
I often use special online platforms that show us the changes in laws and regulations on a monthly basis.

How has your role changed since you joined the company?
I don't just work purely as a “health and safety officer”, I also take care of maintenance tasks or setting up trade fairs, for example.

What motivates you to come to work every day?
To support my colleagues by making their daily work safer.

What are your professional goals for the coming years?
To make our work in the company even safer by giving my colleagues the right tools to do so.

What do you like to do in your free time and why? Does your leisure activity have a regional connection to Straubing? If so, which one?
I'm a passionate motorcyclist, I volunteer in the penalty box for the Straubing Tigers and I love helping out at the Gäubodenvolksfest in the Ochsenbraterei.
