Live Bottom Systems

The live bottom is as proven discharge and conveying device preferably for rectangular underground and tower silos or feed gutters. It is suitable to discharge dry, moist, muddy and sluggish bulk materials from hoppers or gutters with flat bottom.

Live bottom systems from Loibl consist of closely positioned ladder-shapes base frames with wedge-shaped pushers. A flat storage length of up to 20 m is possible and the storage width is expandable, where necessary, by closely positioned 800 mm up 1,500 mm wide base frames. As a result, the storage capacity is highly variable and can be about several thousand square meters at pile heights of up to 10 m. When used in flat storages an access with heavy duty vehicles and wheel loaders is possible.

Our live bottom systems are expandable as needed, more discharge ladders can be added at any time.
