Magdeburg's waste-to-energy plant is one of the most important utilities in Germany. Around 650,000 tons of waste are incinerated there every year to generate electricity and district heating. At the end of 2005, Loibl supplied four conveyor lines, each with identical wet deslaggers, for the waste-to-energy plant for the first time.

Loibl has a long-standing and very successful cooperation with the Magdeburg waste-to-energy plant. In 2022, our team successfully replaced the first wet slag conveyor on schedule. The operator thereupon approved the replacement of the remaining deslaggers as well. We are looking forward to the project and further cooperation.
