Christoph Rösler, Project Manager at Loibl Förderanlagen GmbH:

„We are helping our Belgian customer to implement a new biomass power plant for the sustainable generation of electricity and heat. With our robust conveyor technology  specially designed for bed material transport, we enable him to achieve high plant availability with an energy-efficient transport system.“

The power plant was commissioned at the beginning of 2023. Loibl equipped it with the conveyor technology for the bed material and ash transport for the fluidised bed boiler.

Sustainability project. Environmentally sustainable electricity and heat supply is gaining international relevance. With a total investment of around 95 million euros, the E-Wood project will sustainably and reliably produce 20 MW of electricity and 11.5 MW of heat for the Antwerp grid from waste wood consisting of industrial wood waste and construction and demolition waste.
