Waste incineration in the new RDF power plant. A refuse-derived fuel (RDF) power plant is currently being built in Saxony-Anhalt which will be operational by mid-2024 and have an annual incineration capacity of 140,000 tons. This represents a necessary step towards replacing coal combustion in central Germany and supports the establishment of sustainable, nearly CO2-neutral industrial wax production.
