Loibl Förderanlagen GmbH supported a pilot project in the USA from the electronic scrap industry with field-tested conveyor systems that enable the discharge of WEEE waste.

The conveyor system is used for charging of electric scrap as well as aggregates.

The raw material handling system is part of the pyrometallurgical plant section. Here, the WEEE scrap is broken down in several successive melting units and the recyclable materials are metallurgically separated from each other. The end result is copper and lead-tin.
