Open day for children: insights into our family-friendly company

"The coolest day ever" is how Simon (10), son of project manager Mathias Heinemann, describes the open day at Loibl Förderanlagen GmbH. On the Day of Prayer and Repentance, the company opened its doors to the children of its employees. An exciting program awaited the young guests and made the day an unforgettable experience for children and employees alike.

Despite being off school, the children got up early to start the day together with their parents. A warm welcome and a child-friendly safety briefing were followed by a tour of the production halls, during which the children could see our products in the making. The children were able to get to know the various departments and, protected by automatic welding helmets, were even able to follow the welding process at close quarters. Another highlight was the impressive machinery and the paint shop, followed by a visit to the final assembly department, where the finished conveyor and special machines could be viewed fully assembled.

After the tour, the children were able to put their newly acquired knowledge to the test on the laser machine. The wind chimes were lasered in the machine and personalized with the children's names.

Production manager Hermann Lehner helped the technology fans to bend the individual parts into shape so that the wind chimes can be hung on the window or in the garden at home.

After a refreshing lunch break, the young guests had the opportunity to design an assembly in our CAD system in the technical office. This gave them an insight into the work of our engineering team and showed them how innovative conveyor systems are created from scratch.

The highlight of the day for the children was looking over their parents' shoulders and getting to know their day-to-day work at Loibl in order to understand what tasks they perform at Loibl.

The Loibl-Team is already looking forward to the next open day, which will give our young guests a variety of insights into our family-friendly company and show that work and family can go hand in hand.
