Miniature city tower for the zoo Straubing

Straubing Zoo has received a new exhibit: a detailed miniature model of Straubing's city tower, donated by Loibl. From now on, the mini city tower will adorn the exit area of the zoo. "We are very happy about this," says zoo director Dr. Michel Delling. "The exit area was a bit unspectacular before, but with the new model it attracts everyone's attention."

The city tower is one of Straubing's most famous landmarks. The scale model was made by Loibl apprentices. They are proud of their work and are pleased that the mini city tower has found such a nice place.

Tom Wagner, training manager at Loibl, is enthusiastic about the work of his apprentices. "Not only is the model very detailed, it is also equipped with a fully functional clock and its own lighting." Together with Managing Director Richard Stoiber, he visited the model on site and gave a few final tips on how to care for the mini city tower.

For the future, Tom and his team are planning more miniature models together with the trainees. The next project will have something to do with the Gäubodenvolksfest - but we won't reveal any more for now.
