Apprentice travel diary: Vroni's exciting trip to Ireland

Category: Company, Apprenticeship, Career | | Created by Lea Pfingsten
The following days were all about learning and cultural discovery. Vroni took part in the language exchange program and was introduced to both Irish culture and the finer points of the English language by her exchange teacher, James. His educational sessions and stories about Irish history made the lessons a highlight of her week. A special experience was the excursion to the picturesque cliffs of Howth, which inspired Vroni with their fantastic views and impressively presented the nature of Ireland.

In the days that followed, Vroni went on numerous exploratory tours. From a shepherd rounding up sheep with his herding dog to the breathtaking Wicklow Mountains and an exciting Halloween bus tour of Dublin, each experience was unique and enriching. On one evening, she attended a “Celtic Night”, which featured Irish folk music and dancing and the culinary delight of a delicious 3-course meal.

The return journey was difficult for Vroni, but she was able to look back on a journey full of experiences that not only deepened her professional knowledge, but also won her heart for Ireland. Vroni's trip is an impressive example of the opportunities that an apprenticeship at Loibl can offer and an invitation to discover the beauty and culture of Ireland for herself.
