How did you originally join Loibl and what made you decide to become part of the company?
I wanted to take the plunge into a different industry. Loibl has its own production facility in Straubing, which I found very exciting.
What specific projects or successes during your time at Loibl do you particularly remember and why?
I identified potential savings and established new supplier relationships.
How would you describe the corporate culture at Loibl? What do you like about it?
We have a very open culture of values at Loibl. Everyone is integrated quickly and well.
What challenges have you overcome in your position so far?
Above all, the time-critical procurement of projects. That can be stressful. And, of course, contract negotiations with suppliers and the in-depth development of new business relationships.
To what extent does Loibl support you in your professional development? What benefits do you particularly appreciate?
The extensive range of training courses. I was also very pleased when I was offered the role of training manager. That really motivates me. And as I'm a passionate driver, the fuel vouchers are of course a great thing.
Is there a particular training or further training course that you have completed at or with Loibl that has been particularly helpful in your day-to-day work?
Yes, taking part in the training course on law for purchasers has helped me enormously in my day-to-day work.
What do you value most about your team and working with your colleagues?
The mutual respect and helpfulness.
How do you keep yourself informed about current trends and technologies in your industry?
Through direct exchanges with suppliers, that's where I learn the most.
What fascinates you in particular about the bulk goods industry and the topic of conveyor technology? Why do you think these industries/sectors are future-oriented?
The dimensions that are moved and the forces required to do so.I also find it reassuring that there will always be waste incineration plants and energy suppliers and that they will be needed more and more.What advice would you give to new employees who are interested in Loibl or who are just joining the Loibl team?Ask questions and don't be shy! Colleagues are always willing to listen.
How has your role changed since you joined the company?
Due to experience and personal development, my responsibilities have increased significantly, which gives me a good feeling.
What motivates you to come to work every day?
The contact with the suppliers. I always find new opportunities to identify potential savings.
How do you find the balance between work and private life in your position? How and where does Loibl support you in this?
Loibl offers me a very good work-life balance, as flexitime is possible and you can also plan vacations at short notice in consultation with your colleagues.
What are your professional goals for the coming years?
I want to successfully guide our trainees through their training and I want to continue to successfully achieve profitable projects through results-oriented procurement.
What do you like to do in your free time and why?
I love traveling, hiking and stand up paddling. I like discovering new places and enjoying nature. And I have a penchant for sporty, exclusive vehicles, which has been my greatest fascination since childhood.
