“The company is very well structured, but no one is unapproachable. The working atmosphere is therefore safe, friendly and informal. We work in a very warm environment. That is extremely valuable and anything but a given.”

How did you originally join Loibl and what made you decide to become part of the company?
Loibl is one of the most important mechanical engineering companies in Straubing and I wanted to become part of the company.

What specific projects or successes during your time at Loibl have been particularly memorable and why?
It is very satisfying to see when a project is particularly complicated and you have to argue more, but in the end the customer is satisfied and recognizes our work.

How would you describe the corporate culture at Loibl? What do you like about it?
Loibl is very well structured, but nobody is inaccessible. The atmosphere is therefore safe, friendly and informal. We work in a very warm environment. That is extremely valuable and anything but a given.

Is there a particular training or advanced training course that you did at or with Loibl that has particularly helped you in your daily work?
I was born in France. The language courses, including business English, that we are offered at Loibl have helped me a lot to familiarize myself with the terms and ways of communicating with foreign-language customers.

What do you value most about your team and working with your colleagues?
The communication and brainstorming with my colleagues is exceptionally good. This is especially remarkable when there is a lot of work and we help each other depending on what is possible/necessary. I really appreciate the humor of my colleagues when I am stressed and they make me laugh.

How do you keep yourself informed about current trends and technologies in your industry?
Thanks to the many inspectors who come to our company site in Straubing, there is a natural exchange of information. But of course you have to check from time to time whether the standards are still up to date, for example. Generally speaking, the industry and the associated quality management is not self-contained and is constantly evolving.

What fascinates you in particular about the bulk goods industry and the topic of conveying technology?
Loibl works in a future-oriented way and offers solutions that help our customers to remain competitive. Our internal systems and working methods are also amazingly stable and forward-looking.

What role do sustainability and innovation play at Loibl and in your day-to-day work at Loibl in general?
We work paperless as far as possible, even if this sometimes has disadvantages when the computers go on strike. This means, for example, that we try to convince customers to use online documents. But most importantly, the principle of quality and doing a good job right from the start means that you don't have to do the work twice or more. This saves time, money and resources. We work on this every day.

Can you tell us about a situation where you had to think creatively or “differently” to solve a problem at Loibl? To what extent has this influenced your team or the way you work at Loibl?
It always happens that things don't work out as they should. Then you have to make follow-up calls, be patient and keep at it to achieve your goals. As long as you can rely on your team, you can overcome these challenges.

How do your personal interests contribute to your career at Loibl?
I think that like everyone else, I want to be useful. I like to be efficient and solve problems, although I also like it when said problems don't get too big and stay manageable. As we have a lot of French-speaking customers, my language skills come in handy.

What advice would you give to new employees who are interested in Loibl or who are just joining the Loibl team?
Let yourself be surprised, be open and humorous, don't hesitate to contribute your ideas and experience. Everyone benefits from this enrichment.

How have changes in the industry influenced your work at Loibl in recent years?
The importance of quality and the awareness of its importance is currently increasing exponentially in our industry. As a result, customers' requirements for quality documentation are becoming ever greater. Digital files are getting thicker and thicker and their management more and more complicated. We sometimes even notice this with the same customer from one project to the next.

How has your role changed since you joined the company?
The experience has given me the necessary self-confidence, which is very useful to me today. My team and I are the guardians of quality at Loibl, so to speak, and this knowledge spurs me on every day.

What motivates you to come to work every day?
The joy of the surprises that the new day holds for me and the small daily successes that are yet to come. And, of course, possible outbursts of laughter with colleagues ...

How do you find the balance between work and private life in your position? How and where does Loibl support you in this?
I manage quite well to be here and now, in what I do, wherever I am. So the boundary between my home and my work is very clear. But because flexible time is not just on paper and I use it extensively, it allows me to do what I have to do here but also at home. I really appreciate this ease at Loibl, as it makes my everyday life easier.

What do you like to do in your free time and why? Does your leisure activity have a regional connection to Straubing? If so, which one?
I really enjoy reading a good book from time to time, sitting down to a good meal with friends in the evening or going on a nice hike with my husband. The Bavarian Forest is very close to Straubing and the city itself is also very beautiful with great leisure activities.
